THE FOOL’S JOURNEY illuminates my journey inward through the archetypal imagery of tarot cards. The Fool embarks into an uncharted adulthood with no clothes, only roller blades -- encountering crashes, gifts, and philosophical acquisitions from the characters of the tarot’s major arcana along the way. Combining fantastical sets and dress-up costumes with cluttered rooms peeking behind pinned up background sheets, the work reveals magic in the act of play: something that is available in everyday life -- around the corner, or with the right lens -- to whomever is willing to seek it.
